Alumni Council

Promoting Dialogue, Inviting Engagement, and Making Colgate Connections

Welcome!

Dear Colgate Alumni,

This site was designed with you in mind. Use it to talk with Alumni Council members about what's going on at the university. The Council will use it to let you know what we’re doing for Colgate and the alumni community, as well as to host discussions about Colgate issues.  Council members will also be using the site to review meeting agendas, minutes, and voting materials — our newest way to “go green” and save on printing and mailing costs.

It is our pleasure to serve Colgate and its alumni community through our work on the Alumni Council, to represent the alumni voice to Colgate, and to encourage the ongoing excellence of the institution that we all love.

Interested in learning how you can get involved at Colgate? Check out the 13 Ways to Get Involved page. Know someone you think would be a great addition to the Council? Check out the Call for Nominations below.  Questions or ideas for the Alumni Council web page can be directed to Tim Mansfield, Associate Vice President & Director of Alumni Affairs.

" I definitely chose the right school. I could talk for hours about what Colgate alumni have done for me, even those outside the Real World, and I would still never do their actions justice."

"I never realized how friendly and willing to help the alumni really are until the Real World weekend.... Hearing from alumni about their diverse and successful career paths (and possibly winding roads to get there), I was comforted about making my next steps, and gained enthusiasm to really get moving on my job search."

"I had a great experience with the alums from Alumni Council at Real World. It was inspiring to hear people in areas of interest tell their story of how they got to where they are."
